A new short video has recently been released on the Pacific BioScapes Programme.

The highly informative video showcases activities in SIDS located in the sub-regions of Melanesia, Polynesia and Micronesia. It illustrates how ridge-to-reef and land-seascape approaches are employed to address biodiversity loss, climate risks, and barriers to effective conservation. The video also covers practical action in areas such as marine spatial planning, protected area management and access to biodiversity information for decision-making.

The EU-funded BioScapes Programme,  implemented by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment (SPREP),  aims to strengthen the management of coastal and marine resources in Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
