The BIOCLIMATE component of the programme is implemented by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF). It targets Key Biodiversity Areas in the region, engaging civil society in their conservation and in the enhancement of climate change resilience. BioClimate emphasizes building the capacity of local organizations, supporting them to assess, protect, manage and sustainably use marine and terrestrial biodiversity.
